My apartment building is included in Homes.co.nz, but not my apartment
Your apartment may be owned via a company share lease arrangement, rather than a separate unit title.
We rely on the local authority records for apartment properties and where a building is structured as a series of company leases for the individual apartments, the council treat this as a single property.
This also means that the sale of each apartment (which is legally just a sale of shares) is not reported to the council.
We would like to add more details about individual apartments owned by a company lease structure when we figure out the best way to do so.
